Student Activities
The Science Fair Program is designed to support our students academic achievement. Timilty has partnered up with MGH to develop a Science Connection Program. Through the program students are offered Science Fair Mentoring, Science in the Classroom, and Science Family Activity Nights (SciFan).
TERI Get Ready for College Day, James P. Timilty Middle School has team up with TERI to make sure that every student in the Timilty sees college as an option by ensuring they have the information needed to obtain this goal.
Maroon Book Swap, Ms. Ashley hosted a family-wide celebration of reading this week at her book swap and reading celebration. Students exchanged books, and picked up prizes including books, books bags, book marks, and more.
The Timilty School offers a wide range of Sports Programs for the students, including basketball, lacrosse, soccer, squash, table tennis, cross-country, and track are all offered to selected Timilty students.
Technology Goes Home takes ten students and their parents gather in the computer lab for 2.5 hours each week for 10 weeks, to learn together by taking a technology training course. Families improve their Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet research skills by completing projects that are relevant to parents and students alike.
